Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves grew up
in tiny Golden, Texas, began writing songs as a child, and eventually moved
to Nashville, where her sharp songwriting and willingness to challenge
country conventions made her one of the genre’s most distinctive voices.
Her breakthrough came with Same Trailer Different Park in 2013, followed by
the Grammy-winning Golden Hour, which established her as a major crossover
artist. Her latest album, “Middle of Nowhere”, brings her sound back toward
her Texas roots, blending classic country and dancehall influences with
elements of norteño, zydeco and bluegrass. The
album draws heavily on the character and musical traditions of her home
state while retaining the wit, vulnerability, and unconventional
perspective that have defined Musgraves’ career.
